Justin + Chelsea (and Mac) in home session engagement session
First off let me start off by saying I love shooting in home sessions and can't wait to do more of them! There is something so real and authentic about photographing a couple in the place they are most comfortable in and call home.
Dylan(my bf) met Justin through work and instantly connected from being some of the few young engineers working for ULA. And then I was introduced to both Justin and Chelsea through Dylan. It has been very cool seeing them go through different life stages from living in a cute apartment in downtown Orlando, to getting engaged, buying an equally cute house, helping them move, and seeing all their hard work pay off. Their house has so much charm and I am obsessed with the mid century modern theme, also, did I mention they have my dream couch lol.
So when I was home in Sanford visiting my family and adopting another dog (his name is Goose) I asked Justin and Chelsea if they wanted to hang out and take some photos in their new home. They have also been engaged for a few months and haven't had pictures taken of that so why not combine the two?! Of course they were down! We pretty much were just hanging out drinking good beer and wine while snapping photos and it really was a lot of fun. It made me realize how much I miss them now that Dylan and I moved :(
They love each other, their handsome boy Mac, and their new home so it was really special for me to be able to document this for them. I know these pictures will be something they cherish forever. This in home session totally encapsulates their relationship and at the end of the night when I was leaving to go home Justin said something along the lines of "you know I never realized it but Chelsea and I don't really have any professional pictures together after 8 years so I am really happy we all did this" THIS!!! This is why I do what I do and love it! These stories I capture for couples is something that really makes me happy. There was so many photos from that afternoon it was hard to narrow it down but here are some of my favorite below! Thanks for reading :)
