Florida Woodsy Elopement Inspired Shoot // Adventure Elopement Photographer
I hope that Chris and Neva's elopement styled shoot inspires other couples to get out side and celebrate their love! While Florida might not have the most scenic views I have been location scouting since moving to a new town like crazy and have found some pretty amazing spots so far.
The weather this day started off as typical Florida overcast afternoon and I was so happy it actually didn't end up raining. But once the clouds cleared up we had the state park all to ourselves and the most beautiful sunset filled with pinks, reds, and deep oranges.
I met Neva and Chris through Facebook and they really are the sweetest couple and so much fun to work with! Their banter had me laughing the whole time and they are pretty much naturals in front of the camera. Neva loved the idea of re-creating their wedding day and found this beautiful dress! When she texted me that she was on her way and doing her makeup in the car I instantly knew we were going to get along. Once we started shooting I was asking them how they met and all that, and when they started telling me I realized they really do have the cutest story. When Chris was at military boot camp he hand wrote a note to Neva basically proposing to her (there's no cell phones allowed at boot camp) and after when they reunited at the airport he asked her in person. How adorable right? After we were done shooting we just sat in my car talking about our dogs, what its like living in Pensacola, and just life in general. I think that we literally could have talked for hours, and I LOVE that having just met them!
These photos are the first professional photos they have taken together since their wedding day which was 5 years ago! So it was really special for me to be able to provide some memories they can have and look at forever. And I was over the moon that Neva was so happy with her photos. Here are some of my favorites from Chris and Neva's elopement inspired shoot! Enjoy!
